LORETTO, Pa. - The Saint Francis men's basketball team welcomes Binghamton to DeGol Arena on Saturday for a 7 p.m. tipoff. The game will be broadcast on NEC Front Row, with
Pat Farabaugh and
Bernie Jubeck on the call.
The Red Flash, led by Head Coach
Rob Krimmel, is 3-3 this season and snapped a three-game win streak, falling 83-70 at NJIT on Wednesday. The Bearcats are 5-4 after a 91-71 win over Mansfield on Wednesday.
The matchup will feature two of the nation's top three-point shooting teams. Saint Francis is third in the nation with a 44.4 three-point percentage and ranks 26th in the nation, averaging 9.8 makes per game. Binghamton is 17th in the nation in three-point attempts, with 200, averaging 22.2 per contest.
It is Toys For Tots day. Fans who bring in a toy to donate will receive half-price admission to the game.

Isaiah Blackmon (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte) and
Josh Nebo (Houston, Texas/Cypress Lakes) each scored 12 points to lead Saint Francis. Nebo made five-of-seven
shots, while Blackmon hit five-of-nine attempts.

Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School) and
Randall Gaskins, Jr. (Woodbridge, Va./Bishop O'Connell (Va.)) added 11 points each, with Braxton adding eight
rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Jamaal King (Salisbury, Md./Bishop O'Connell (Va.)) contributed eight points, four rebounds and five assists.
- A 14-2 run by NJIT early in the second half broke the game open, with the Highlanders shooting 60
percent for the half.
SERIES HISTORY
Saint Francis and Binghamton meet for the second straight season. The Red Flash won last year's contest, 67-61, at Binghamton.
Josh Nebo (Houston, Texas/Cypress Lakes) had 13 points on 6-of-6 shooting.
ACTION BRAXTON
Braxton averaged a double-double with 15.5 points and 13.5 rebounds to to along with 4.0 assists and 1.5 per game to earn his first NEC Rookie of the Week award last week. He finished with a career-high 17 points, 12 rebounds and five in SFU's 87-72 win against Longwood. Braxton went 8-of-11 from the field and added a pair of steals against American. The Glassboro, N.J. native posted his second career double-double with 14 points and a personal-best 15 rebounds. He ranks second in the NEC with 8.7 rpg and is shooting 53.1 percent from the floor to rank seventh in the league.
NEBO'S BLOCK PARTY
Sophomore forward
Josh Nebo (Houston, Texas/Cypress Lakes) has become a force when it comes to protecting the rim. After posting 59 blocks as a freshman, Nebo added four more against Longwood. His 69 career blocks are already good for seventh all-time at Saint Francis, two away from tying Jason Osborne (2001-05) for sixth place. He leads the NEC with 10 blocks this season.
Nebo has also had a strong year on the offensive end of the floor, where he is averaging 13.7 points per game and ranks fifth in the nation, shooting 75%.
BOMBS AWAY
Saint Francis hit on 9 threes against St. Bonaventure, 10 against Duquesne and 19 vs. Chatham. The Red Flash are currently third the nation with a 44.4 three-point percentage and is tied for 26th, averaging 9.8 three-pointers per game. SFU's 19 against Chatham are the third-most in a Division I game this year.

Georgios Angelou (Halkida, Greece/Lykeio Kanithou) has hit a team-best 15 threes this year and ranks 91st in the NCAA with a 41.7 three-point percentage. Sophomore
Jamaal King (Salisbury, Md./Bishop O'Connell (Va.)) has hit 13 threes, sophomores
Scott Meredith (Pilot Mountain, N.C./Hargrave Military Academy (Va.)) and
Isaiah Blackmon (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte) have eight and seven, respectively, while freshman sophomore
Andre Wolford (Willowick, Ohio/Saint Ignatius) has hit six.
BALANCED ATTACK
Saint Francis placed four players in double figures in the 83-70 loss at NJIT. The Red Flash has put at least four players in double figures in five of six games this season. SFU had five in double figures in the opener at Saint Bonaventure and four in the loss at Duquesne.
Nebo (13.7), King (12.7) and Braxton (12.3) are all averaging double-figures through six games, while Angelou and Blackmon are close behind, averaging nine points per game.
DROPPING DIMES
Boosted by a 30-assist performance against Chatham, the Red Flash is 20th in the nation in assists per game, averaging 17.8. With 107 total assists, SFU is assisting on 59.1 percent of its made shots.
YOUTH MOVEMENT
Eleven of the eighteen players on the Saint Francis roster are freshman or sophomore eligibility. Of the 15 players who have appeared a game this year, 10 are freshmen or sophomores. Through six games, the group has combined for 429 of the team's 502 points (85.5 percent) and 968 of 1200 minutes (80.6 percent).

Josh Nebo (Houston, Texas/Cypress Lakes) were selected Team Captains for the 2016-17 season. Angelou, one of three seniors on the roster, moves into a bigger role this year after being a key contributor off the bench last season, leading SFU with a 47.4 three-point percentage. King will provide leadership at the point guard spot, while Nebo made a big impact in his freshman campaign, starting 29 games.
ABOUT THE BEARCATS
The Bearcats are 5-4 this season, coming off a 91-71 win over Mansfield. Binghamton also has wins Cornell (68-62), Central Connecticut State (72-70), Ave Maria (95-77) and Long Beach State (72-64).
Sophomore guard J.C. Show leads the Bearcats in scoring, averaging 14 points per game. Junior forward Bobby Ahearn is contributing 11.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Binghamton is 17th in the nation in three-point attempts this year, with 200, averaging 22.2 per game.
Ahearn led Binghamton with 19 points and 10 rebounds in the win over Mansfield. Sophomore guard Everson Davis contributed 17 points, while sophomore forward Thomas Bruce added 14 points and eight boards.??
