GREENVILLE, S.C. – Despite playing a near even first half, the Saint Francis women's lacrosse fell at Furman, 18-6, on Tuesday night.
Holly Lawrence (Damascus, Md./Damascus) led the Flash with two goals and finished with three draw controls, while
Lindsay Ingram (Stewartstown, Pa./York Catholic) and
Alex Anton (Galloway, Ohio/Hilliard Bradley) each posted three draw controls.
Heather McKee (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright Bel Air) tallied seven saves and two ground balls for SFU, but took the loss in the net.

Blair Rosenberg (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport South Manor) goal put the Flash on the board at the 25:06 mark to lead 1-0. Furman scored two goals two minutes apart to take a 2-1 lead. The Paladins scored 39 second later to make the score 3-1.
The Flash took advantage and scored two consecutive goals, the first was Lawrence at 19:23. Rosenberg picked up an assist on a
Rebecca Meyer (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) goal to tie the score at 3-3. Furman and Saint Francis traded goals to tie it up at 4-4. The Paladins' took a one goal advantage at 5-4. Lawrence scored again to knot up the score at 5-5. FU scored with 1:15 to go in the first half to take a 6-5 lead.
Furman scored 12 answered goals to take an 18-5 advantage in the second half.
Jessica Fischetti (Massapequa, N.Y./Plainedge) would score for Saint Francis with 49 second left.
Saint Francis takes on Campbell on Thursday at 4 p.m.
