EMMITSBURG, Md. – The Saint Francis men's basketball team will look for an NEC weekend sweep when it meets Mount St. Mary's on Saturday at Knott Arena.  Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. on NEC Front Row.

The Red Flash, led by Head Coach Rob Krimmel, enters the game with a 6-10 record, including 3-2 in the NEC, after a 77-57 win at Robert Morris on Thursday.  Sophomore Josh Nebo (Houston, Texas/Cypress Lakes) led SFU with a career-high 23 points and a career-best seven blocks.

Mount St. Mary's, coached by Jamion Christian, is 6-12 overall and 4-1 in the NEC after handing Fairleigh Dickinson its first loss of conference play on Thursday.  The Mount earned a 77-70 win at home, with Greg Alexander's 19 points leading four players in double-figures.

NOTES FROM ROBERT MORRIS
- Sophomore Josh Nebo (Houston, Texas/Cypress Lakes) set new career-highs with 23 points and seven blocks to go with eight rebounds.  Nebo hit 10-of-12 shots from the floor.  Nebo's dominant second half included 15 points and five blocks.
-  Nebo's seven blocks are the most by any NEC player in a game this season and the 12th-most by any Division I player.
- SFU placed five players in double-figures for the first time since the Chatham game on November 16, but had its 10th game with at least four players in double figures.
- Sophomore Isaiah Blackmon (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte) and freshman Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School) each had 14 points, with Braxton adding seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.
- Senior Georgios Angelou (Halkida, Greece/Lykeio Kanithou) and sophomore Jamaal King (Salisbury, Md./Bishop O'Connell (Va.)) contributed 12 points each, with Angelou hitting all four shot attempts, all from beyond the arc.
- SFU shot 58.5 percent from the field, its fourth game this year shooting over 55 percent.  SFU hit 63 percent of its shots in the second half.
- The Red Flash shot 50 percent from three despite RMU entering the game as the fourth-best three-point defense in the nation.
- SFU outscored RMU, 46-22, in the paint.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Flash trails the all-time series, 43-30, against Mount St. Mary's and will look to bounce back from last year's series, which the Mount swept with an 82-72 win at SFU on January 16, 2016 and a 66-61 victory at MSM on February 13, 2016.

NEC LEADERS
Early in conference play, Saint Francis owns the NEC's top offense through 16 games, leading the league in scoring (75.3 ppg), field goal percentage (46.1), three pointers made per game (8.6) and three-point percentage (40.1).  The Red Flash offense features a balanced attack with Jamaal King (Salisbury, Md./Bishop O'Connell (Va.)) (12.4), Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School) (11.9), Isaiah Blackmon (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte) (11.8) and Josh Nebo (Houston, Texas/Cypress Lakes) (11.7) all averaging double-digits in scoring.  SFU is the only NEC team with four players averaging double-figures.  Individually, Nebo tops the conference in blocks, averaging 1.94 per game.

FINDING NEBO
Robert Morris found Josh Nebo (Houston, Texas/Cypress Lakes) at the rim on Thursday as the sophomore forward poured in 23 points and swatted away seven shots.  According to the NEC's Ron Ratner, Nebo is just the fifth player in Division I since 2010 to post 23 points, eight rebounds and seven blocks and shoot over 80 percent in the same game.  Nebo joins an elite group of players that includes former Kentucky forward and current New Orleans Pelican Anthony Davis.

After posting 59 blocks as a freshman, Nebo has 31 this year, with a season-high five against St. Francis Brooklyn.  His 90 career blocks are already good for fourth all-time at Saint Francis, recently passing Lou Schmitt (77, 1980-84).  Nebo needs 15 more blocks to tie Earl Brown (2012-15) and Emmanuel Adekunle (1994-98) for third.  His seven blocks at RMU are tied for the 12th-most in a Division I game this year.  Nebo leads NEC and ranks 52nd in the nation with 1.94 blocks per game.

Nebo has been good at the other end of the court, where he is shooting a team-best 59.1 percent from the field.  In NEC play, Nebo is averaging 12.8 points per game, shooting 64.3 percent and has 16 blocks in five games.

50-WIN Mark
Saint Francis Head Coach Rob Krimmel picked up his 50th career win on Thursday in SFU's 77-57 win at Robert Morris.  He is now just one win away from tying John Loughran (1920-24) for eighth all-time at Saint Francis.

3-POINT CHALLENGE
Saint Francis men's basketball is participating in the 2017 Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge.  Fans can support the cause by visiting here and pledging an amount of money that will be donated for each three the Red Flash makes during the month of February (eight games).  Proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society for research and awareness.  SFU is one of several programs around the country participating in the challenge, with the program who raises the most money being crowned the champion of the event.

The Red Flash will also show its support for Coaches vs. Cancer during Suits and Sneakers Week, on January 23-29, in its games at Wagner and home against Robert Morris.

GASKINS WINS NEC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK HONOR
SFU freshman guard Randall Gaskins Jr. was named the NEC Rookie of the Week for his performance in two games this week.  It is Gaskins Jr.'s first rookie of the week award this season and SFU's 4th, with Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School) claiming the other three.  Gaskins averaged 12.5 points and five rebounds this week.  He posted career-bests with 13 points and seven rebounds vs. St. Francis Brooklyn and followed that with 12 points against LIU Brooklyn.

YOUTH MOVEMENT
Twelve of the seventeen players on the Saint Francis roster are freshman or sophomore eligibility.  Of the 16 players who have appeared a game this year, 12 are freshmen or sophomores.  Through 16 games, the group has combined for 1,051 of the team's 1,209 points (86.9 percent) and 2679 of 3200 minutes (83.7 percent).  Against Robert Morris, a freshman or sophomore scored 65 of the team's 77 points and the group combined for 180 minutes.

BRAXTON ON THE BOARDS
Braxton has enjoyed an impressive freshman campaign, which includes three NEC Rookie of the Week awards.  He has posted double-digit scoring efforts in 11 games this season and has seven games with eight or more rebounds.  His 19 rebounds against Stony Brook are the most rebounds by an NEC freshman since Central Connecticut State's Ron Robinson on February 5, 2001 vs. Mount St. Mary's.  He is third among NCAA freshmen in rebounds per game (8.1), only 0.8 rebounds behind UCLA's TJ Leaf.  Braxton averages almost a rebound more per game than any other freshman guard in Division I.  The SFU freshman averages 6.4 defensive rebounds per game, the third-most among any Division I guard.

BOMBS AWAY
Saint Francis hit 13 threes against Sacred Heart, the fourth time this season hitting 10 or more threes.  SFU hit 10 against Duquesne and Marquette and 19 vs. Chatham.  SFU has hit 8 or more threes in 10 games.  The Red Flash is currently 17th in the nation with a 40.1 three-point percentage and leads the NEC, hitting 8.6 threes per game.  SFU hit 50 percent of its three attempts (7-of-14) at Robert Morris despite the Colonials entering the game as the fourth best three-point defense in the nation.

Sophomore guard Jamaal King (Salisbury, Md./Bishop O'Connell (Va.)) leads the team with 33 threes, with senior guard Georgios Angelou (Halkida, Greece/Lykeio Kanithou) and sophomore Isaiah Blackmon (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte) right behind with 31 and 26, respectively.

BALANCED ATTACK
The Red Flash has put at least four players in double figures in 10 of 16 games this season and at least three in double figures in 13 games.  SFU had five in double figures in the opener at Saint Bonaventure, while also placing six in double figures against Chatham and five against Robert Morris.

King (12.4), Braxton (11.9), Blackmon (11.8) and Nebo (11.7) are all averaging double-figures through 16 games.

ABOUT THE MOUNT
The Mount is 6-12 overall and off to a 4-1 start in the NEC after handing Fairleigh Dickinson its first conference loss on Thursday.  MSM earned a 77-70 win at home.

Junior Greg Alexander led five players in double-figures with 19 points on Thursday.  He hit 7-of-13 shots, including five threes.  Junior guard Junior Robinson had 16 points, on four-of-seven shooting and six-for-six from the line, and seven assists.  Sophomore Elijah Long filled the stat sheet with 14 points, seven rebounds, 12 assists and five steals.  Junior forward Chris Wray and freshman center Ryan Gomes each contributed 10 points.  Mount shot 57 percent from the floor, including 42 percent from three.

Long leads the Mount, averaging 14 points per game.  He's also averaging 4.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.  Robinson contributes 12.7 points per game, while freshman forward Miles Wilson is averaging 11.2 points per contest.
