HACKENSACK, NJ- The Red Flash got double-doubles from four different players and Saint Francis picked up their sixth NEC win of the season with a four-set victory at Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday night.

Saint Francis won 25-22, 25-16, 16-25, 25-20 on Friday night as they move to 12-11 overall and 6-4 in the Northeast Conference. The win also snapped a three-match losing streak at Fairleigh Dickinson.

FIRST SET RECAP
- The teams traded runs in the early going, and split the first 14 points
- Neither team was able to build a lead over two points until the Red Flash got kills from Marcinowski and Lambert to go up 16-13 and force a timeout
- SFU built the lead up to five at 18-13 on another Lambert kill
- FDU pulled within one at 22-21 but a Sophia Esposito (Coraopolis, PA/Montour (Gardner-Webb)) kill stopped the Knights' rally

- The Red Flash would get no closer in the set as a pair of FDU runs led them to a set three victory

FOURTH SET WIN
- FDU jumped out to an early 6-2 lead in the set, an ace and a pair of kills fueled the run
- The Red Flash whittled away at the lead, getting a kill and a block of Sophia Esposito (Coraopolis, PA/Montour (Gardner-Webb)) as they battled back to tie the set at nine
- Three kills from Marcinowski flipped the set as SFU rattled off four-straight points to lead 14-10 and force a FDU timeout
- A pair of Emily Pieper (Paonia, Colo./Paonia) kills paced the offense out of the timeout as SFU built a 18-13 lead
- The Knights' were able to cut the lead to two on a pair of occasions but could get no closer
- A pair of Marcinowski kills were part of a three-point run that closed out the match at 25-20
