FAIRFAX, VA- Caitlyn Kroll had a career day with 16 points and 10 rebounds but cold shooting did the Red Flash in on Friday afternoon in a 82-50 setback at the hands of Southeast Missouri.

Saint Francis shot just 23.5 percent (16-68) on Friday afternoon, their coldest shooting output since a loss at Tennessee on December 3, 2014.

FIRST QUARTER RECAP
- The Red Flash missed their first 11 shots and were held scoreless until the 3:02 mark of the first quarter
- SEMO started the game on a 13-0 run before a Kyasia Duling layup got SFU on the board
- Saint Francis was just 1-16 in the first quarter, missing all five of their threes
- The Red hawks led 23-4 after the first quarter

SECOND QUARTER RECAP
- SFU started the quarter quickly, getting a Kroll lay-up and a pair of free throws from Leah Morrow
- It would not be a sign of things to come, the Red Flash were held to just a Courtney Zezza jumper over the next five minutes
- A four-point binge from Ace Harrison would be the lone run of the half for the Red Flash who could not close closer than 18 in the quarter
- Saint Francis went 0-13 in the half from beyond the arc
- The Red Flash trailed 42-23 at the half

THIRD QUARTER RECAP
- The Red hawks started the half on a 6-1 run, forcing a SFU timeout
- A three-pointer by Kroll snapped the SFU drought from long range three minutes into the half
- Kroll would score eight of her 16 in the quarter, draining a pair of treys
- Jessica Kovatch, the NEC's leading scorer, was held scoreless until a late three in the quarter, she finished with 10 points
- SFU trailed 61-35 after three quarters

FOURTH QUARTER RECAP
- Kovatch hit her second three of the game and followed it up with a steal and score
- Maya Wynn (Reisterstown, Md./McDonogh) and Harrison each hit a three as the Red Flash tried to find their shot
- Unfortunately, the Red Flash never found that rhythm they were looking for and went the next 3:30 without a basket until a Kroll jumper
- SFU would be outscored 21-15 in the quarter

Kroll led three Red Flash players in double figures with her 16, Harrison added 11 and Kovatch 10. Harrison added four assists and a game-high five steals. Tesia Thompson led SEMO with 18 points 11 rebounds and six assists.

The loss drops SFU to 0-2 on the season. They will face the loser of George Mason and Old Dominion tomorrow afternoon. George Mason is locked into the 2:30 slot tomorrow, with noon being the other possible game time.
