BOX SCORE Washington, D.C. - The Saint Francis women's soccer team (2-4) hung tough with the No. 15 Georgetown Hoyas (5-2) for the first 50 + minutes before the Hoyas pulled away late in the second half for a 5-0 victory.
Turning Point
After conceding a goal in the 5th minute, the Red Flash played the Hoyas even over the next 45 minutes. Georgetown sophomore Patricia Germino-Watnick took over the match early in the second half, scoring two goals in a span of eight minutes, to put the match out of reach. The Hoyas would add goals in the 64th and 75th minutes.

- The game was a rematch of last year's NCAA First Round Tournament game, won 2-0 by the Hoyas.
- Sophomore Julia Hernan (Collegeville, Pa./The Hill School) had a strong game in goal with a season-high nine saves.
- Senior Siobhan Bross (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) recorded the lone Saint Francis shot.
