Loretto, Pa. - The Red Flash Swim Team travels to Albany, New York to take on the Siena Saints. The Red Flash are coming off of a record setting weekend. Katie Lafferty (Bremen, Ind./Bremen) and Karilyn Quon (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol) made SFU swim history last weekend after having recorded the first ever wins against The University of Delaware.

Lafferty claimed the title as the first ever Saint Francis swimmer to win an event against the University of Delaware when she touched the wall first in the 100 backstroke in a time of 58.80. She then went on the win the 100 freestyle and contributed to the winning 400 freestyle relay.

Quon followed suit with two individual wins of her own against Delaware. She won the 200 backstroke in a time of 2:06.18, over four seconds ahead of second place. She also won the 200 individual medley by six and a half seconds.

Saint Francis is looking to continue its win streak against the Saints. The Red Flash have not lost against Siena since the 2009-10 season, where the Red Flash were defeated by only five points.

The Saturday meet will start at 1 p.m. at Siena College.
