Water Polo Announces Hiring of Assistant Coach

Loretto, Pa.- Saint Francis water polo is proud to announce the hiring of Allison Rocha as an assistant coach.

Allison Rocha joins the Saint Francis water polo program as an assistant coach after an illustrious career at Washington & Jefferson.

Coach Jay O'Neil commented, "We are super excited to have Allison join the Red Flash Family.  Her experience and enthusiasm will help this young program as we strive to build on the first two seasons. Allison was a great player, her knowledge of the game and understanding of what it takes to succeed in the pool and the classroom will have an immediate impact on the program."

Rocha played under O'Neil when he served as head coach of the Presidents. She was a remarkable presence in and out of the pool for Washington & Jefferson as she was a three year starter who graduated early. Rocha thrice earned Academic All-American, CWPA and ACWPC honors. Rocha also spent two years in the Olympic Development Program.

After graduating in 2015, Rocha worked as an intern with USA Swimming in Club Development and Marketing.
