 Set One
Brandon Buck (Baden, Pa./Ambridge) gets the Red Flash going as he starts the first set with two straight kills. SFU would hold its lead early until the Bearcats would climb back to tie things up at 6.  The set would remain a battle as neither team could gain much of a lead until the Red Flash rattled off six straight points to take a 22-16 lead. The Flash would continue to chip away at its lead, as they would go on to win the set, 25-22.

Set Two
The second set would be a battle as both teams would go back and forth for most of the set before the Bearcats would go on a 3-0 run and force SFU to call a timeout. McKendree would keep its momentum out of the timeout and go on to win the set, 25-23.

Set Three
Just like the second set, the third set was a back and forth battle all the way to end. McKendree would end up pulling away with the set, 27-25 and take a 2-1 match lead.

Set Four
A pair of kills and McKendree miscues gave Saint Francis a 10-6 lead in the fourth set. The Bearcats would claw their way back to make it a one point set (12-11) and force SFU to call a timeout. With both teams trading points the rest of the way, the Bearcats would go on a 2-0 run at the end and take the set and match, 27-25.
