Season Recap: BY THE NUMBERS

Loretto, Pa. - It was a record-breaking year for the Red Flash men's basketball program in many areas as it continues to lay the groundwork in its quest for its first NEC title since 1990-91. Take a look back at some of the team's accomplishments through the season as we break down the numbers.

- It marked the first time in school history that SFU had a set of teammates earn first team all-conference and first team all-district in the same season.
 
- Jamaal King (Salisbury, Md./Bishop O'Connell (Va.)) and Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School) combined for 1,095 total points, the most by teammates in the same season since Joe Anderson and Mike Iuzzolino in 1990-91

11 – The number of wins in DeGol Arena, tied for the second most home wins in DeGol Arena history and the most since 2004-05.
.581 – The highest win percentage in a season since 1997-98.
79.0 – SFU's scoring average, the highest since 1990-91.
+3.06 – SFU's scoring margin per game for the season, the best scoring margin since 1990-91.
16 – The number of games which SFU scored 80 or more points, accounting for 51.6% of its games.
3 – The number of opponents ranked in the AP Poll, the most since the 1978-79 season.
 
CAREER MILESTONES
78 – The number of career wins for Rob Krimmel, which ranks him fourth in school history.
327 – The number of career assists for senior Malik Harmon (Queens, N.Y./Christ the King), 7th best in school history.
1 – Sophomore Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School) recorded the first triple-double in school history in a win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Feb. 1, 2017, recording 12 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists.
 
SEASON MILESTONES
.762 – SFU's free throw percentage, which ranked 31st in all of NCAA Division I and was the second-best mark in program history.
250 – The number of three-point field goals on the season, the second most in program history.
97 – The number of three-pointers made by junior Andre Wolford (Willowick, Ohio/Saint Ignatius), second most in program history behind Mike Iuzzolino (103 in 1990-91).
54 – The number of steals for sophomore Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School), tied for the fifth most in program history and the most since 2000-01.
563 – The number of points scored by junior Jamaal King (Salisbury, Md./Bishop O'Connell (Va.)), the 13th most points in single-season history and the most since Darshan Luckey in 2004-05.
40 – King became just the 40th player in program history to score 1,000 career points on Mar. 14 at Illinois-Chicago and the first since Earl Brown during the 2014-15 season.
.595 – The field goal percentage of sophomore Deivydas Kuzavas (Kretinga, Lithuania/St. Mary's Ryken (Md.)), the 8th best FG% in single-season school history for someone with a minimum of 125 attempts.
9 – Andre Wolford (Willowick, Ohio/Saint Ignatius) tied the single-game three-point record with nine in a win over Lehigh on Dec. 21. He also made eight in a game at Stony Brook on Dec. 2, the fourth highest total in single-game history. Scott Meredith (Pilot Mountain, N.C./Hargrave Military Academy (Va.))'s seven vs. Bethany on Dec. 18 also ranks in the top 10.
7 – The number of steals recorded by sophomore Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School), the second highest total in program history and the most since Darshan Luckey had seven in 2004-05.
