Cojutepeque, El Salvador - Former Saint Francis forward
Patrick Wrencher (West Chester, Ohio/Archbishop Moeller) (17') has signed a professional contract to continue his playing career at Club De Baloncesto Cojute of the Liga Mayor de Baloncesto (LMB), the top league in El Salvador.
Wrencher spent the 2017-18 season with the Newcastle Knights in England, where he averaged 13.0 ppg and 8.0 rpg. A team captain, Wrencher led the Knights with eight double-doubles including a 34 point, 17 rebound performance against the Worthing Thunder.
He led the Knights in rebounding and efficiency and ranked t-7 in the league in rebounds per game.
Wrencher appeared in 79 career games over his four-year Saint Francis career, shooting 52.8% from the field for his career. He was also a standout performer in the classroom, landing on the NABC Academic Honors Court as a senior.
