LORETTO, PA- Former Saint Francis forward
Ace Harrison (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor (Maryland)) ('18) has signed a professional deal with FCC ICIM Arad, one of the most storied teams in Romania, the club announced this week.
Harrison played two seasons in Loretto as a graduate transfer from the University of Maryland. The Baltimore native won the Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Year in both seasons at Saint Francis and was a two-time first-team all-conference performer. This last season, Harrison averaged 10.7 points and 7.7 rebounds, helping the Red Flash win their NEC-best 12th conference title.
Now, Harrison will join a FCC ICIM Arad club that has won nine Romanian Championships since joining the top league in 1992. FCC ICIM Arad is no stranger to signing Americans on the team either, as former Miami Hurricanes Suriya McGuire and Morgan Stroman called the team home last year.
