Loretto, Pa. - Junior
Alyssa McGhee (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) of the Saint Francis women's soccer team (4-6-2, 2-0 NEC) scored the game-winning goal for the second consecutive conference game to move SFU to 2-0 in the NEC with a 3-2 come-from-behind win at Sacred Heart on Friday.

Turning Point
Saint Francis trailed 2-1 at the half but brought the game back with two second half goals. Senior
Sara Suler (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) sparked the comeback with the tying goal in the 58th minute. McGhee followed with an unassisted goal in the 64th minute and it would hold up.
Highlights
- The Pioneers opened the scoring in the 10th minute on a goal from Alex Mesropyan.
- Freshman Heather Markiewicz (Darnestown, Md./Northwest) tied the match in the 28th minute with her second goal of the season. Sophomore Marian Jaleca was credited with the assist.
- Saint Francis nearly went ahead minutes later from a strike by sophomore Aubrey Suydam (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) but the shot hit the crossbar.
- Saint Francis went into the half trailing 2-1 after a 38th minute goal by Taylor Casale.
- Suler's tying goal was her second of the season and went unassisted.
- McGhee's game-winner was her fourth of the season and her third game-winning tally.
