SOMERSET, NJ- Saint Francis linebacker Da'Jon Lee (Fairfax, Va./Robinson) earned the Northeast Conference's first Defensive Player of the Week this season for his efforts against Lehigh on Saturday. 

Lee was tremendous and in the Mountain Hawks' backfield all game long as he finished with two sacks, two forced fumbles and three tackles for loss to go along with tying for the team high with eight stops. 

Lee stopped Lehigh's All-American tailback Dom Bragalone on a third-and-five inside the SFU red zone on the opening drive of the game, forcing a fumble that was scooped up by Jarren Williams (Lewis Center, Ohio/Olentangy). The junior also had a pair of sacks. His strip sack of Brad Mayes deep inside Lehigh's own territory resulted in Ben Bruni (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) recovering the ball in the end zone for the Red Flash's second touchdown of the game. His two forced fumbles are a career high. 

Lee was recognized as an honorable mention by Stats FCS for the National Defensive Player of the Week.

He and the Red Flash open up the home portion of their schedule this weekend when SFU welcomes in Delaware State to DeGol Arena. Kick off is set for noon and it's a RED OUT with fans encouraged to wear red to the game.
