Dilluvio Leads SFU at Roseann Schwartz Invitational

The Red Flash wrapped up the Roseanne Schwartz Invitational on Tuesday with the final 18 holes of the two-day, thirty-six-hole tournament.

Nikki Dilluvio was SFU's top finisher overall, shooting a final round 77. Dilluvio played the par-5's well throughout the tournament finishing one under par on such holes. The junior carded 5 birdies to land her at top standing for the Red Flash and T16 overall.

Allison Appleton (Millersville PA/Penn Manor) carded the low round for the Red Flash on Tuesday shooting a 75. Appleton handled the par-3's well throughout the tournament finishing +3 with a 3.38 stroke average, placing her among the top for the tournament. The sophomore recorded four birdies and 20 pars.
 

Senior Kelsey Patterson (Allentown, Pa./Emmaus) improved over the two rounds of the tournament posting her best round of the competition, shooting a 79 to close out the event. Patterson was solid throughout the event posting three birdies. As a team, the Red Flash shot a 632 and finished in fifth place behind Indiana State in the final standings. Saint Francis (B) shot a combined 702 placing them in eighth.

Youngstown State was the overall winner, fending off second place Marshall by 15 strokes. The Red Flash will compete next in the Tignanelli Towson Invitational beginning on Monday, Sept. 10. The two day event will consist of 36 holes with tee times starting at 8:00 am on Monday and 7:30 am on Tuesday.
