Scouting Fairleigh Dickinson

The Knights are in search of their first league win and second win overall. Freshman Mujay Mambu and junior Magdalena Makisimovic rank 1 & 2 on the team in kills with 137 and 136, respectively. The Knights rank fourth in the NEC in blocks per set (1.69) while Jaelyn Young ranks fifth in the country in digs per set at 3.76.

Shut the Door

Saint Francis must find a way to close out sets if it wants to get itself in contention for a playoff spot. The Red Flash are just 5-10 in sets when it scores 20 or more points. Saint Francis had four set points in the first set at Sacred Heart last Friday, but couldn't shut the door in a 29-27 loss that set the tone for the rest of the match.

Home Sweet Home

Saint Francis will be glad to be back on its home floor this weekend where it has been pretty good over the last three seasons. Saint Francis has a much better record at home then on the road, going 9-10 since the start of the 2017 season at DeGol Arena. Saint Francis is 1-0 at home this season, defeating Merrimack in four sets.

Dig Pink

Saturday's match vs. FDU will also be the annual Dig Pink game game where all proceeds will go to the American Volleyball Coaches' Association's Dig Pink/Side Out Cancer charities.

The Red Flash will have a basket raffle where fans will have the chance to purchase tickets to win gift certificates to area restaurants, crafts and Red Flash gear and t-shirts will be sold on-site.

Additionally, the first 40 students to Friday's match will receive a coupon for a free slice of pizza courtesy of Best Way Pizza.
