Red Flash capture 2-1 win over Robert Morris

Loretto, Pa. – Saint Francis women's soccer (5-8-1, 4-3-0 NEC) picked up a critical 2-1 win over Robert Morris (4-9-2, 2-4-1 NEC) on Friday at Stokes Soccerplex.

  • Mariana Jaleca (Sebtubal, Portugal) scored to give SFU a 1-0 lead when she took a short corner kick to Leanna Choo (Germantown, Md./Northwest), who passed it back to Jaleca for a shot into the top right corner of the net
  • Following a Robert Morris goal in the 59th minute, SFU took a 2-1 lead on a Barnett goal off an assist from Tarosky and McGhee in the 69th minute
