Loretto, Pa. – The Saint Francis women's volleyball team (3-23,3-11 NEC) concludes its season this weekend at LIU (10-16, 9-5 NEC) on Friday, Nov. 15, and Fairleigh Dickinson (3-25, 2-12) on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Senior Kora Schaberl has overtaken SFU's
Madi Tyus (Plano, TX/Bishop Lynch) for the league lead in kills per set at 3.83 and also leads the NEC in total kills with 333. Karolina Nova is second on the team with 270 kills and leads the Sharks with 31 service aces. It is a huge final weekend for LIU as it currently sits in a tie with CCSU for the fourth and final playoff spot.

Saint Francis defeated the Knights in four sets in Loretto behind 27 kills and 23 digs from sophomore
Madi Tyus (Plano, TX/Bishop Lynch). Junior Magdalena Makisimovic and freshman Mujay Mambu rank 1 & 2 on the team in kills with 204 and 190, respectively. The Knights rank fourth in the NEC in blocks per set (1.82).

Sophomore outside hitter
Keara McGraw (Austin, TX/James Bowie) continues to improve over her second season, as evidence by her 14-kill performance vs. CCSU last Saturday. Of her 121 kills on the season, 88 have come in conference play and four of her five double-digit performance in kills have come in conference games.

The future is bright for this Saint Francis team as it loses just one senior next season. SFU's top four leaders in kills are all sophomores and younger as are eight of their top nine in kills. SFU has played seven freshmen, five sophomores, two juniors and one senior this season.
