Men's soccer hosts Robert Morris for Senior Day Sunday

Loretto, Pa. - Saint Francis men's soccer (9-5, 6-2 NEC) hosts Robert Morris (4-10-2, 3-4-1 NEC) for Senior Day on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. The Red Flash will honor six seniors prior to the match in Lucas Canineu (Corbin, Ky/Corbin), Renan Fuentes (Sao Paolo, Brazil/Colegio Joao XXIII), Jacob Gratzer (Olmsted Falls, OH/St. Edward's), Kyle Moerschbacher (State College, PA/State College), Gabe Quintero (Clarksville, MD/River Hill) and CJ Smolyn (Holland, PA/Germantown Academy).

Scouting Robert Morris
The Colonials have dropped three of its last four matches, including a 3-0 loss to LIU in its most recent outing on Nov. 1. Robert Morris still has a lot to play for as the Colonials are one of four teams competing for the fourth and final playoff spot. Ricardo Rota leads the team with eight points on four goals, while Michael Petitti has six points on two goals and two assists.

Series History
Saint Francis is 15-18-2 in the all-time series history against Robert Morris. The Colonials won last season's meeting 1-0 over the Red Flash on Nov. 2, 2018 in Moon Township, Pa. SFU had won the previous five contests before last year's defeat.

Rosa named NEC Player of the Week
Junior midfielder Lucas Rosa (Atibaia, Brazil/COC Atibaia) was named Northeast Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday following a stellar performance in the Red Flash's win over Mount St. Mary's. Rosa scored the game-winning goal in the 101st minute off a Felix Tonne (Kolbotn, Norway) assist to give the Red Flash a 1-0 double overtime road victory over the Mountaineers. It was Rosa's NEC best fifth game-winning goal of the season. The Atibaia, Brazil native also leads the conference in points (22) and goals (10).

NEC Playoffs Picture
With a win on Sunday, Saint Francis will earn the No. 1 seed and host the Northeast Conference Championships Nov. 15-17. If the Red Flash tie or lose to the Colonials, then LIU would earn the No. 1 seed with a win over St. Francis Brooklyn. SFU would also earn the No. 1 seed if the Sharks were to either tie or lose on Sunday. Saint Francis has clinched no worse than the No. 2 seed. Merrimack won the NEC regular season title, but is unable to qualify for the postseason due to its NCAA reclassification period.
