Red Flash fall just short to Robert Morris, 66-60

Loretto, Pa. – Saint Francis women's basketball (12-13, 9-4 NEC) was unable to overcome Robert Morris (15-9, 12-1 NEC) as the Red Flash dropped a 66-60 decision to the Colonials on Monday at DeGol Arena. The defeat snapped SFU's six game winning streak and was the Red Flash's first home conference loss of the season. Haley Thomas (Hooversville, PA/Bishop McCort) led Saint Francis with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Sam Sabino (Rumson, N.J./Rumson Fair Haven (New Hampshire)) scored 12 points.

Robinson Fruchtl's Reaction

"Give credit to Robert Morris," Interim Head Coach Susan Robinson Fruchtl said. "They hit some big shots down the stretch. That big three right at the end was a big dagger in a good way for them. We just didn't get it done tonight. We will continue to work and we have a long way to go here. We have five games left and two at home this weekend."
