Williamsburg, VA– This past week in Virginia, the Red Flash women's golf team managed a 12th place finish in a tough field of teams at the Kingsmill Resort River Course. Freshman
Michelle Cabotaje (Fort Washington, MD/Bishop McNamara) and junior Nikki Dilluvio paced Saint Francis in during the two-day, 54-hole event.

Cabotaje led the way with scores of 80 and 86 on the first day, including a hole-in-one on the par three-second hole from 140 yards. She finished the final round with a score of 82 for a total of 248 and a T-40 individual finish.
Dilluvio matched her teammates 54 hole total with rounds of 84 and 82 on the first day of the event and again shot a score of 82 in the final round.

Sophomore
Allison Appleton (Millersville PA/Penn Manor) was SFU's No. 3 finisher, at T-48 with scores of 86 and 85 on day one, but finished strong shooting an 81 in her final round. Senior
Kelsey Patterson (Allentown, Pa./Emmaus) shot rounds of 83, 88, and 82 respectively for a 50th place finish. Junior
Synclaire Kuhn (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) shot rounds of 85, 84, and 88 to finish T-59.
Seton Hall was the overall winner shooting a combined team score of 918 (+54), followed by High Point 928 (+64), and Pennsylvania (+72). Saint Francis shot a team score of 996 (+132) good enough for 12th, 28 strokes better than 13th place Central Michigan University. Â

The Red Flash tee it up again in two weeks in an away match against Mount St. Mary's on March 31, as they get ready for postseason play.Â
