Red Flash secure home playoff game with 67-58 win over Wagner

Staten Island, N.Y. – Saint Francis women's basketball (14-15, 11-6 NEC) used a well-balanced team effort to pick up a 67-58 win over Wagner (10-18, 8-9 NEC) on Monday at the Spiro Center. Jess Kovatch (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) led four Red Flash players in double figures with 15 points, while Leah Morrow (Columbus, Ohio/Columbus Africentric) (12 points), Courtney Zezza (Plum, PA/Plum) (11 points) and Karson Swogger (Bellwood, PA/Bellwood-Antis) (10 points) also finished in double digits.

Robinson Fruchtl's Reaction
"I think it was a great overall team effort tonight," Interim Head Coach Susan Robinson Fruchtl said. "We really played great team defense and did an awesome job on the boards tonight. We out-rebounded them by double-digits and that was probably the biggest difference in the game."
