LORETTO, Pa.- The Saint Francis track & field team have two meets forthcoming this weekend. The squads will be split as some athletes depart to the Old Dominion State for the Virginia Challenge and the rest of the squadrons remain in the Keystone State for the Bucknell Challenge.
Bucknell Challenge
The Red Flash return to the Bucknell for the first time since 2017. The SFU men finished second and the women placed fourth. Saint Francis has been a frequent visitor to the firmaments of Lewisburg; this marks the third trip to Bucknell during the 2018-2019 track & field campaign. The Bucknell Challenge will be a scoring invitational. The meet begins at 11 am with the Discus Throw. Live Results are available at this

Virginia Challenge
While, the Virginia Challenge represents a new invitational for the Red Flash, the state of Virginia has been invaded by Saint Francis with the frequency of Union armies during the Civil War. This marks the third straight invitational in Virginia for the Red Flash. Last weekend, Saint Francis competed at the Mason Invitational, and
Christopher Frederick (Woodbridge, Va./Gar-Field) shattered a 18 year old record in the 200m with a time of 21.12 seconds.
Dashaun Jackson (Harrisburg, Pa./Harrisburg), as per his usual result, won the 110m Hurdles. The challenge begins at 11 am on Friday. Live Results are available at this
