ABOUT THE RED FLASH
Â
Saint Francis picked up a trio of key victories last week, splitting the six-game slate. SFU bounced back from an extra-innings loss in game one to Penn State by downing the Nittany Lions 17-13 behind
MeKenzie Saban's (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) 5-5 day at the plate. It was a day to remember for the sophomore, who hit her first collegiate home run in the game while driving in five. It was the first 5-5 game since 2011.
Â
The Red Flash went on to split Saturday's home opening double header with Robert Morris and Sunday's road twin bill at Mount St. Mary's. SFU now sits at 5-3 in the Northeast Conference with half of their conference season completed.
Â
ABOUT THE PANTHERS
