Live Saturday: Seton Hall Live Stats | Eastern Kentucky Live Stats

Scouting Seton Hall

The Pirates, member of the Big East, have yet to find their stride with a 1-6 record and six total set wins in 25 attempts. Haylee Gasser is Seton Hall's top offensive weapon with 57 kills while Julia Wilkins has 20 blocks.

Scouting Eastern Kentucky

Eastern Kentucky has the best record of the four-team field entering the weekend at 3-3 after sweeps of Dartmouth and North Carolina AT&T. Three Eastern Kentucky players have 50 or more kills in Abby Noll (79), Jovana Bulatovic (56) and Kaylin Johnson (50). The Colonels have shown drastic improvements in the early goings of 2019 after recording a 5-23 overall record in 2018.

Tyus the Terror

It was another All-Tournament worthy performance from sophomore Madi Tyus (Plano, TX/Bishop Lynch), her second in as many weeks, as she led Saint Francis with 38 kills and 25 digs in three matches at last week's UMBC Retriever Invitational. She was SFU's only representative on the All-Tournament Team.

Edgington Gaining an Edge

Freshman middle blocker Jeanie Edgington (Olmstead Falls, Oh/Olmstead Falls) continues to make strides during her first season with the Red Flash. Edgington earned her first career start last Saturday and rewarded head coach Sara McMullen with two kills and a block.

McGraw Goes Off

Sophomore Keara McGraw (Austin, TX/James Bowie) hopes Saturday was her coming out party. In SFU's four-set loss to George Mason, McGraw was credited with a career-high 13 kills, more than her entire total from her freshman season.
