Loretto, Pa. – Saint Francis men's soccer (1-1-0) continues the season by hosting Wright State (2-2-0) on Saturday, Sept. 14. Kickoff at Stokes Soccerplex is set for 4 p.m.
Scouting Wright State
The Raiders are coming off a 2-0 win over Cincinnati on Tuesday. Wright State opened the season with a defeat at Central Arkansas followed by a win over Memphis. The Raiders then fell to No. 24 West Virginia on Sept. 7. Stefan Rokvic leads the team with eight points on four goals, while Deri Corfe has seven points on three goals and an assist.

This is the first all-time meeting between Saint Francis and Wright State.
Tonne Named NEC Rookie of the Week
Freshman forward
Felix Tonne (Kolbotn, Norway) was named Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week on Tuesday. Tonne scored two goals to lift the Red Flash to a 2-0 road win over Old Dominion. The Kolbotn, Norway native connected on a goal in the 55th minute off an assist from
Kevin Smolyn (Holland, PA/Germantown Academy) to break a scoreless tie. Just over six minutes later, Tonne used an assist from
Renan Fuentes (Sao Paolo, Brazil/Colegio Joao XXIII) to find the back of the next for a second time.
Goalkeeping Duties
Sophomores
Alex Morgret (Hummelstown, Pa/Hershey) and
Jonas Dieseler (Duesseldorf, Germany/Lessing Berufskolleg) shared goalkeeping duties last season and will be locked in another intense battle this fall. Dieseler started the season opener against Siena, allowing four goals while recording two saves. Morgret started in the second match and picked up a win over ODU, recording a clean sheet with one save.
Red Flash among NEC's best
Saint Francis ranks at the top of the Northeast Conference in several statistical categories. The Red Flash lead the NEC with 17.0 shots per game and are second in points per match (6.0). SFU is tied for second with 2.0 goals per game and tied for first with 2.0 assists per contest.
