Red Flash struggle to come out on top

Loretto, Pa – The Saint Francis University women's lacrosse team lost to American in their second game of the season with a final score of 21 to 12.
 
Tight First Half
The Red Flash kept the goal scoring close in both 15-minute periods of the first half. The deficit was never greater than five goals, with the closest gap coming from red-shirt senior Morgan Day (New Park, Pa./Kennard Dale) to make the score 4-3 with 14:36 remaining in the first half. Junior Emileigh Scott (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) led the attack during the first half with three goals and won nine draw controls.
