» Sara Klinchock (Ligonier, Pa.) sits in ninth after the first round of the Lehigh Fall Invitational for the Saint Francis University women's golf team on Monday.
» Klinchock posted a five-over on the first nine holes after three bogeys and a double bogey. She posted a one-over on holes 9-18 thanks to a pair of birdies on 11 and 18 and three bogeys. Klinchock is seven strokes behind the current leader after her round of 78.
» The Red Flash is in seventh place after a round of 330.
FLASH MOMENTS
Rachel Detore (Spotsylvania, Va.) and
Mary Kate Norcross (Chambersburg, Pa.) will go into the second round tied for 30th place after a round of 83. Detore had a birdie on 15 along with three bogeys, two double bogeys and a triple bogey, while Norcross registered a birdie on five, four bogeys, two double bogeys and a triple bogey on the afternoon.
Anna Crumine (Newark, Ohio) (42nd place, 86) and
Sydney Clements (East Sparta, Ohio) (48th place, 89) rounded out the team competitors.
Abby Zambruno (Mount Pleasant, Pa.) (49th place, 90),
Elisabeth Zajdel (Winder, Pa.) (61st place, 96),
Jaylee Sikora (Ebensburg, Pa.) (65th place, 101) and
Sadee LaRose (Johnstown, Pa.) (67th place, 102) participated as individuals.
Fairleigh Dickinson leads the two-day event after a round of 305, seven strokes ahead of Navy (312), while Monmouth (314), Lehigh (315) and Fairfield (323) round out the Top-5 teams in the seven-team field.
