Women’s Basketball Falls to La Salle, Mastellone Scores Career-High 17 Points

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
» The Red Flash fell to La Salle, 64-59, despite shooting 40.7 percent to La Salle's 29.2 percent.
» Jenna Mastellone scored a career-high 17 points on 5-of-6 shooting from three-point territory.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
The Red Flash led by five, 38-33, midway through the third quarter before La Salle put together a 19-5 run across a seven-minute span and took a 52-43 lead. The run was led by five points from Spruill and four from Claire Jacobs.
 
After they trailed by more than five points for a majority of the fourth quarter, Dapaa got the Red Flash within two points on two occasions in the final 31 seconds. The Explorers, however, converted all-six of their intentional foul free-throw opportunities to seal their victory.

FLASH MOMENTS
With her made free throw with 36 seconds remaining in the game, Mastellone set a new career-high with 17 points.
 
A third-quarter assist by Allen gave her six in the game, which marked a new career-high.
 
Dapaa grabbed her 10th rebound of the game in the final seconds of the third quarter, which marked her fourth double-digit rebound game this season.  

FLASH NUGGETS
One game after she scored 15 points, Mastellone set a new career-high with 17.
 
The Red Flash had a higher shooting percentage than their opponent for the first time this season.
 
Saint Francis made more three pointers than their opponent for the fourth time in seven games to start the year.
