LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis University softball program announced its 2021 schedule on Wednesday. View the full schedule HERE.

The season opens with a trip to South Carolina the second weekend of February. The Red Flash play a doubleheader at Furman on Feb. 12 beginning at 5 p.m. SFU then plays a doubleheader at Presbyterian on Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. According to Presbyterian policy, no fans will be allowed on Feb. 13.

Saint Francis continues non-conference road play with the Battle of the Beach, where the Red Flash face Buffalo (Feb. 19 and 21), Coastal Carolina (Feb. 19 and 20) and East Carolina (Feb. 20). SFU is also scheduled to play in the Winthrop Eagle Classic to wrap up tournament play. The Red Flash play Syracuse (Feb. 26), Winthrop (Feb. 26), Albany (Feb. 27), College of Charleston (Feb. 27) and University of Illinois Chicago (Feb. 28) in the Winthrop Eagle Classic.

Other non-conference opponents include road games against Bucknell (March 7), Gardner Webb (March 13-14), Akron (March 24) and Towson (April 7).

SFU begins Northeast Conference play at home on March 20 and 21 as it hosts Fairleigh Dickinson for doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday.

Saint Francis also hosts NEC series against Wagner (March 27-28), Central Connecticut (April 17-18) and Bryant (April 24-25). The Red Flash are on the road against NEC foes Merrimack (April 2-3), Mount St. Mary's (April 13-14), Sacred Heart (May 1-2) and wrap up the regular season at LIU (May 8-9).

The Northeast Conference Tournament is scheduled for May 13-15 as the top four teams in the NEC will qualify for the double-elimination bout.
