EBENSBURG, Pa. – The Saint Francis men's and women's tennis teams hosted Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday. The Red Flash women prevailed by a 4-3 margin while the Red Flash men lost 7-0. The SFU women earned points at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles as well as No. 4 and No. 5 singles.

SINGLES
Saint Francis won at No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
Marie Discini won her No. 4 singles match, 7-5, 6-1. At No. 5 singles,
Nagisa Miyake beat Gandotra in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1.
At No. 1 singles,
Dominique Yeo fell in a close match to Eftenoiu, 6-4, 7-5.
Anouk Ma-Ajong lost to Gulia at No. 2 singles by the same margins. At No. 3 singles,
Romina Cutipa fell 6-0, 6-2 against Lasheen.
DOUBLES
The Red Flash women earned victories at both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Ma-Ajong and Yeo teamed up for a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles against Lasheen and Gulia. At No. 2 doubles, Cutipa and Miyake beat Eftenoiu and Gandotra by a 7-5 margin.

SINGLES
Three of the singles matches needed three sets to decide. At No. 2 singles,
Andrew Teixeira won the first set against Dhouib 7-5 but fell 6-4 in set two and 6-2 in set three. After losing his first set 6-3,
Daniel Vinces took his No. 4 singles match to three sets with a 6-2 win in set two before falling 10-7 in set three. At No. 6 singles,
Matt Blose won his first set, 7-6, but lost sets two and three by 6-4 and 10-4 marks, respectively.
Pukse won at No. 1 singles against
Sebastian Pinos in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2. At No. 3 singles,
Christian Banti lost to Gudins by 6-4 and 6-2 margins.
Jordi Garcia fell at No. 5 singles to Sader, 6-3 in both sets.
DOUBLES
Pinos and Vinces won their No. 2 doubles match by a 6-2 mark but FDU ultimately earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Banti and Teixeira kept their No. 1 doubles match close but fell 7-6. Garcia and
Samuel Ghigiarelli teamed up for No. 3 doubles, losing to Budinszky and Aduch by a 6-2 margin.
UP NEXT
The Red Flash men and women are on the road for a pair of Northeast Conference matches next weekend. Saint Francis first plays at Wagner on Friday at 10 a.m. for the women and 1 p.m. for the men. SFU wraps up the weekend at Sacred Heart on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. for the men and 3:45 p.m. for the women.
