SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Saint Francis track & field teams return to action with a group traveling to Western Massachusetts for the 2021 ECAC/IC4A Championships.
The Red Flash will compete for the first time since the Saint Francis women won their third NEC Outdoor Championship May 2 in Rhode Island.

LAST TIME OUT
The Saint Francis women's outdoor track & field team won its third Northeast Conference Championship, while the men's squad finished fourth at the conference meet hosted by Bryant.
A POINT ABOUT POINTS
Saint Francis recorded 195 points to win the NEC women's championship – the fourth-highest total by the winning team in the history of the conference meet.
HYDE AND SEEK WINS
Sophomore
Nickolas Hyde was named Most Outstanding Rookie and Most Outstanding Performer in throwing events at the NEC Championship. Hyde collected 21 points in the conference meet, with a win in the shot put, a third-place mark in the discus, and fourth-place result in the hammer.
M-V-P! M-V-P!
Junior
Mylan Crews was named the MVP of the conference meet and Most Outstanding Performer in sprints. Crews won the 100m and 200m and contributed to a winning performance in the 4x100m relay.
PROVING THEIR MEDAL
The Red Flash took two of the top three spots in four events at the NEC meet. Junior
Emily Lunger and sophomore
Caroline Ratchford went 1-2 in the high jump after sophomore
Mackenzie Walker and senior
Madison Wright opened the meet by finishing second and third in the 10K. Senior
Taylor Weaver won the pole vault with sophomore
Marlena Jacobs third, while graduate student
Sara Phelan won the javelin and sophomore
Olivia Conrad.
