Dapaa, Mastellone Earn Northeast Conference Prime Performer Honors

LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis women's basketball's Jada Dapaa and Jenna Mastellone earned their third Northeast Conference Prime Performer honor of the season, the conference announced Tuesday.

Dapaa, a senior, had 38 rebounds combined in two victories over Central Connecticut and Sacred Heart. Her 23 rebounds against Sacred Heart are tied for the most in a single game by a player in the NCAA Division I this season. She fell one rebound short of tying Saint Francis' single-game program record set four times, most recently by Jess Zinobile in 1998.

The North Bethesda, Md. native's 11.3 rebounds per game rank 15th in the NCAA Division I. She recorded the eighth double-double of her career and fourth of the season against Sacred Heart with 13 points. She fell one assist short of a double-double against Central Connecticut with her career-high nine.

Mastellone, a graduate student, had 20 points against Sacred Heart and 19 points against Central Connecticut that lead Saint Francis to two victories. She fell one rebound shy of tying her career-high with six against Central Connecticut.

The New York, N.Y. native has 20 or more points in three of her seven conference games played this season. In conference play, Mastellone ranks fourth in points per game with 15.9.

Saint Francis returns home for a 7 p.m. tip-off against Wagner on Thursday, Jan. 27.
