TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
After Ramiir Dixon-Conover (Newark, N.J./Southeastern) gave the Red Flash a 19-15 lead with 8:23 left in the first half, Wagner closed the stanza on a 20-7 run to take a 35-23 lead going into the locker room.

The Red Flash could not get any closer the rest of the way.

FLASH QUOTES
"I thought our guys executed really well. Defensively, I thought we did a lot of really good things. We had a lot of opportunities to put them in positions offensively and do things that they are not really comfortable with. They are a talented team, and they are really good in transition. I thought we gave too many second chance opportunities at the rim, especially in the first half. In those last four minutes of the first half and the first four minutes of the second half, I thought they had too many opportunities to get a second chance and then also our execution offensively wasn't where it needed to be. Wagner was able to play in transition. They are one of the best transition teams, obviously in our league, but also in the country. They do a really good job of running and getting out and rebounding and taking turnovers and turning them into points." – head coach Rob Krimmel on tonight's execution

"I told our guys, I'm proud of the effort and when things are bad you still need to play for each other. I thought there was a stretch there where there were some teachable moments, I thought we took some quick shots that led to getting Wagner running. I think that will help some of these guys build on as we head into Saturday against Mount St. Mary's. There are two things, rebounding and taking care of the basketball. On the road against a really good team, you have to minimize those mistakes. I'm proud of the way our guys battled, they executed the game plan, but just needed to rebound better and take care of the basketball." Krimmel on moving forward

FLASH MOMENTS
With Saint Francis down 6-5, the squad was able to go on a 9-2 run thanks to a five-point run from Thompson for the team to take the 14-8 lead with 12:13 left in the first half.

Dixon-Conover hit a triple with 8:23 left in the first half for the Red Flash squad to take the lead for the final time to make the score 19-15.

However, after a late run in the first half from the Seahawks to make the halftime score, 23-25 and a strong start for the Wagner program in the second half, the Red Flash were unable to override the team down the stretch.

FLASH NUGGETS
Thompson continues to roll in conference play with fourth-straight 10-point games and seventh in his last nine games. He is averaging 15.8 points per game in his last four games.

Hargis reached 10 points for the fourth time in the last six games with a thunderous dunk at the 6:16 mark in the second half. The senior had a pair of dunks on the night and now has scored double figures seven times this season and 12 times since joining the Red Flash Last season.

Flagg reached double figures for the third time this season and the first time since posting back-to-back 10+ point games to start the season. The redshirt senior has 27 career double-figure point outputs. Flagg now stands at 650 rebounds, making him three boards short of joining the top 20 list in Saint Francis men's basketball history.

The Saint Francis coaching staff donned Suits and Sneakers Coaches Vs. Cancer quarter zips for the game, joining coaches around the country to help raise awareness for the fight against cancer.
