TURNING POINT OF THE GAME

The Knights had total control of the start of the match to never allow the Red Flash to lead in set one. Fairleigh Dickinson took set one, 25-17. The Knights were able to continue this momentum to be able to go on and claim the next two sets for the 3-0 win over the Red Flash.

FLASH MOMENTS 

The Red Flash found its stride early in the second set, while the Knights continued theirs for set two to see a total of ten tied scores and six lead changes. With the Red Flash down 22-17 in the first set, the team put up a 4-1 run to be back within two for the score to be 23-21. However, the push wasn't enough to stop the Knights from claiming the second set, 25-21. Â

The third set was very similar to the second in that both teams were battling back and forth for the lead for set three to see eight tied scores and two lead changes. However, the Knights secured the third and final set, 25-19 for the win.

FLASH NUGGETS 

Christine Covello (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Notre Dame de Namur) made her career debut in set two as her setting position in Saturday's match. Covello notched six assists and two digs for starting debut.

UP NEXT
The Red Flash will continue conference action at home by taking on Central Connecticut on Friday, Oct. 7 and Sacred Heart on Saturday, Oct. 8. Both matches are set to start at 5:00 p.m.
