The Red Flash competed at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College on October 15. The women took second and the men claimed sixth.
 
Quinn McElhenny led the way from the women, finishing fourth with a time of 22:54.2. Monica Gregg finished sixth with a time of 23:11.0 and Mackenzie Walker claimed tenth with a time of 23:21.6.
 
Zachary Kohler paced the men, taking tenth with a time of 25:59.1. Shane Curran finished 22^nd with a time of 26:48.3.
 
Their performance earned the runners a spot on the NEC Prime Performers List that week.

RED FLASH AT NEC CHAMPIONSHIPS HISTORY
The Red Flash competed at the 2021 NEC Championships in Connecticut. The women placed third with 75 points and men took sixth with 134 points at the championships.
 
The last time Saint Francis hosted the NEC Cross Country Championships was in 2016 where the women claimed the conference title and the men placed third.

Saint Francis will host the Red Flash Rally at B & D Acres Farm Sunday, November 6. The women's race will begin at 1:45 p.m. and the men's race at 2:30 p.m.
