Men’s Soccer Back at Home Against Stonehill for Senior Day

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Saint Francis men's soccer will return home Sunday afternoon for a Northeast Conference matchup against Stonehill at 2 p.m. at the Stokes Soccerplex.
 
>> Seniors Sean Smolyn, Alexios Rodriguez, Jonathon Heider, Tobi Joseph, Carlos Mota-Villegas and Kenny Mesidor will be honored prior to kickoff.
 
>> The Red Flash come into Sunday's match with an overall record of 6-5-2 and a conference record of 3-2-1. The team has 10 points.
 
>> The match will be streamed on NEC Front Row and Live Stats will be provided.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Flash defeated the Sharks of Long Island University, 1-0. Quinn O'Hearn scored the match winning goal in the second half.
 
O'Hearn and goalkeeper Jordaine Jaeger earned spots on the NEC Prime Performer list for their efforts during the match.

THE WORD ON THE SKYHAWKS
Stonehill is 3-11-1 on the season and 2-9-1 on the road. The Skyhawks collected their four points in conference in a 1-0 win against Howard and scoreless draw against Central Connecticut State. The program is currently ninth in the NEC standings.
 
Last season as a Division II program, the team went 6-10-1 overall. The Skyhawks finished 11th out of 13 teams in the Northeast-10 Conference standings with 10 points.
 
Returning for the Stonehill is junior forward Jacob Woznicki who has started 15 matches for the program and is the team's leading goal scorer this season with seven goals. Woznicki is second in the NEC in goal scoring and in points (14). The forward is also third in the conference in shots taken (48).
 
Carlos Dias Neto has started in goal for the Skyhawks' last five NEC matches. Dias Neto has allowed 18 goals this season and has made 45 saves. The junior goalkeeper has a save percentage of .714.
 
The Skyhawks are under the direction of Jim Reddish who is in his 15th season as head coach with the program. Stonehill was predicted to finish ninth in the NEC preseason poll.

LAST TIME WE MET
This will be the first all-time meeting between the Red Flash and the Skyhawks.
