Women’s Basketball Falls at No. 25 Michigan

Ann Arbor, Mich.  – Saint Francis University women's basketball took a 91-36 loss to No. 25 Michigan on Friday.
 
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
» Adison Novosel led the Red Flash overall in scoring with nine points, while Aaliyah Moore and Destini Ward followed closely behind with eight points apiece on the day.
 
» Jade Campbell led the team by notching seven boards on the day, which was a new game high for the freshman.
 
» In addition, the team recorded 25 rebounds in the team's loss to the Wolverines.
 
» Michigan's Emily Kiser and Laila Phelia led in scoring in Friday's match for the two to put up a combined 46 points.
 
TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
Michigan started off the game with a 12-0 run to never allow the Red Flash to lead in game. Saint Francis notched its best run in the third quarter with a 5-2 run that featured layups from Moore and Layla Laws and free throws from Ward.
 
FLASH NUGGETS
Despite the loss, there were several new game highs notched for Red Flash women's basketball in Friday's game.
 
Novosel set a new career high with nine points in today's contest, breaking her previous total of three set three times last season.
 
Moore also achieved a new game high with eight points, which she has now achieved three times.
 
In addition, Ward's eight points on Friday was a new game high for the freshman.
