FLASH QUOTES
"I think to start the game we were a little stuck in the mud in terms of getting back and playing at their pace. To these guys' credit, they didn't fold and they continued to battle. We made some plays in the first half that got us back into the game. The one thing about these guys is they are not going to hang their heads. They are going to continue to compete and battle. They are going to put us in a position to, even after a stretch in the second half where I didn't think we performed very well but have a shot to tie it in the end."
– head coach Rob Krimmel on the game
Â
"It's a credit to what got him here. I think his biggest strength is his ability to play with a level head, not to get too high or too low. I think that learning to play with Josh and Max as we work to find combinations that's going to be a challenge. But when you have a guy like that as a freshman that has a high basketball IQ competes and can-do multiple things with the ball in his hands it makes Josh's job easier, and it makes Max's job easier."
– Krimmel on Moore
Â
"I think we just got to stick to our principles and the things that we work on in practice. A couple times on their runs they were doing all things that we prepared for and stopped them from doing. I think its just a matter of watching film and facing the things we know we can do."Â
- Land on the game
"Especially with playing a lot of freshmen, we had some guys hurt – just finding out different ways we can win basketball games. I think that's the biggest thing for us. Last year we struggled with it. I think the only thing that can happen for us is we get better at it throughout the next couple games – throughout the whole season. We are just taking it game by game."
- Cohen on the game
