LORETTO, Pa.  –  Saint Francis University's women's basketball player Layla Laws has been selected as an NEC (Northeast Conference) Prime Performer after her stellar performance this week, the conference announced on Monday.
 
Laws led Saint Francis with 15 points on 7-of-14 shooting and added six rebounds in the team's close 58-68 loss to Towson on Saturday. Laws shattered her previous career-high of six points and three made field goals with her 15 and seven, respectively.
 
Saint Francis will travel to Morgan State for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
