TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
Similar to the match on Wednesday, one team went up by five goals and the other team attempted a furious comeback attempt. Wednesday the Red Flash was the team that had the lead and held on for the win, but Saturday Saint Francis was the team trying to come from behind for the win.

The Red Flash was able to cut the margin to one goal at 12-11, 13-12, 14-13 and 15-14, but could never could even the score, while the Golden Flashes scored the final two goals of the game in the final 4:04 of the game to secure their first win in the series.

FLASH QUOTES
"I am very proud of how we fought back in the second half. We responded well & played to win. It showed what we are capable of doing when we put our minds to it. Amanda's shooting caught fire in the second half. Her leadership was a big part of the comeback. How we started the game though killed us. Our goal will continue to be finding ways to shift the momentum in our favor." - head coach Tracy Coyne

FLASH MOMENTS
Hernandez gave the Red Flash a 1-0 lead on an unassisted tally at 13:33 in the first quarter. The sophomore scored the squad's second goal of the afternoon at the 11:16 mark in the second quarter.

Fisher followed the Hernandez twine twinkler with her first goal of the day off a feed from Julea Jamison (Pittsburgh, Pa.) at 10:56 in the second quarter.

The co-captain fueled the Saint Francis scoring in the third quarter with six goals. McHenry scored off a feed by Hernandez at 14:39 before Heidt connected with McHenry at 12:25.

You had to say the Heidt of the third quarter, but that is what the graduate student did with four goals in a four minute and 55 second span. She scored unassisted at 10:40 and then hit the back of the net off a Hernandez pass 36 seconds later. A Kent State goal ended Heidt's chance at a natural hat trick, but she earned a hat trick off a pass from Jamison at 8:39 before Fisher connected with Heidt at 5:45.

The Red Flash started the fourth quarter with consecutive scores. Catherine Russo (Wantagh, N.Y.) found the back of the net off Fisher's second assist of the day at 14:35 before McHenry cut the margin to 12-11 with 13:16 on the clock off Christina Roncarati's (East Long Meadow, Mass.) first career helper.
