FLASH QUOTES
"We had a lot of different players step up today in key situations and I'm proud of the way our team played overall today. One of the key plays that will get overlooked was Aubry's tagging play to get to third base. If she doesn't make that play, she doesn't score on Saban's ground ball. I'm very happy with how smart we played today."
– Head coach Jessica O'Donnell on the team's overall play
"Jordan definitely came through in some big-time situations and didn't let pressure get too big for her. That veteran leadership is what we expect when she steps up to the plate and I'm really proud of her staying within herself and showing what she can do."
– Coach O'Donnell on the clutch hitting of Frank
"I always have confidence in the team and even though the lineup was different today I don't think that changed any of the momentum or energy. It was a good feeling to help the team today, stay loose, and not let any moment be too big."
– Graduate student outfielder Frank on the team's overall play and her clutch hits
