TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
Saint Francis carried momentum into the game and had control of the tempo in the first 10 minutes of play until the Bison notched the first goal just over 12 minutes into the contest. After that point the Bison took control of the first half accumulating 15 shots in the first frame and put consistent pressure on the Saint Francis defensive zone.

FLASH MOMENTS
Lauren Pyle unloaded the perfect shot into the top left corner of the net to score the first goal of the season for the Red Flash. Pyle capitalized on a free kick opportunity and put the ball in a spot that was just beyond the fingertips of the goalkeeper. Pyle led the Red Flash in points during the 2021 season and looks to be off to a fast start in 2022.

In the first half, goalkeeper Sarah McConnon made a split second decision to charge on the ball in what was a one-on-one opportunity for the Bison and made the excellent sliding stop.

FLASH NUGGETS
Junior midfielder Colletta Ozbey led the Red Flash with three shots and two of them being on goal. In the second half, Saint Francis was able to turn it around on the offensive side outshooting the Bison 8-4 in the final frame.

UP NEXT
The Red Flash will stay on the road and make the trip east to face their old Northeast Conference rival, Robert Morris this Sunday. Saint Francis will kickoff against the Colonials at 1pm.
