LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University football is set for at least two Northeast Conference games on ESPN3, the conference announced Tuesday.
Â
Saint Francis' first matchup against Stonehill in program history on Oct. 22 will be the first Red Flash conference game to air on ESPN3 this season. The 1 p.m. kickoff also marks Saint Francis' homecoming game.
Â
One week later on the road, Saint Francis will face Sacred Heart on Oct. 29 at 12 p.m. on ESPN3. The Pioneers defeated the Red Flash 14-13 last season after Saint Francis missed a field goal as time expired.
Â
All-eight NEC member schools are guaranteed at least one home and one away game on ESPN3 this season. The nine total games that will air on ESPN3 marks a new conference record in a season.
The final two weeks of the regular season on Nov. 12 and 19 are open for the best available matchup. If there is a chance for a title-clinching game on Nov. 12, that game will air on ESPN3. If not, a title-clinching game on Nov. 19 will flex to ESPN3.
Â
Outside of NEC play, Saint Francis is currently scheduled to play Akron on ESPN3 on Sept. 1 and Norfolk State on ESPN+ on Sept. 24.
