TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
Niagara controlled the time of possession and the tempo until junior midfielder Colletta Ozbey put the Red Flash on the board with her first of the season. Ozbey received the pass off a terrific assist from Rita Kendziora who centered the pass to make the goal happen. After the goal, Niagara wasn't able to tie the match as the Red Flash defense was stout throughout the contest.

FLASH MOMENTS
In the first half of play McConnon made her best of six saves on the afternoon jumping in the air to her left and blocking a would be goal from the Purple Eagles to keep the shutout alive. McConnon made two more saves in the contest that were highlight reel worthy as she kept the Purple Eagles off the board all 90 minutes of play.

FLASH NUGGETS

Lauren Pyle, Paige Theobald, Kendziora, and Ozbey all recorded shots on goal for the Red Flash.
Savannah Schoonmaker, Bella Pesce, Corinne Renninger, and Rory Schaeffer played all 90 minutes of the match on defense to help secure the shutout win.
