WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

>> Tomke Dziesiaty and Raine Korpics scored the goals for Saint Francis, both of which coming in the second half.
>> Sarah McConnon received her third shutout win in a row for the Red Flash stopping three shots.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
The Red Flash broke the scoreless tie in the 53rd minute when Dziesiaty fired the shot past goalkeeper Sam Hughes to get Saint Francis up 1-0. Just 13 minutes later freshman Raine Korpics scored her second goal of the 2022 season when she put it past the goalkeeper off of a beautiful assist from Olivia Parody. From that point on the Red Flash never looked back as they controlled the tempo and the time of possession for the remainder of the match.

FLASH NUGGETS
Dziesiaty notched her first goal of the young season from Lauren Pyle who registered her first assist of the season, as Pyle has the most points on the team with five for Saint Francis.

Korpics led the Red Flash offense with four shots on goal while Dziesiaty was just behind her with two of her own. Pyle and Jaela House each recorded a shot on goal as Saint Francis recorded their highest shot total of the 2022 season.

The last time the Red Flash won three matches in a row was during the 2017 season, and the last time they had three shutouts in a row was in the 2016 season.
