Women's Soccer Wins Thrilling Match Against Howard

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> The Red Flash get their fourth win in their five match home stand as they upend Howard, 2-1.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
In the 79th minute, the Red Flash continued to make strides on offense when Dziesiaty centered a ball that ended up hitting off a Howard defender and rolled into the net. This made the score 2-1 as Saint Francis out shot the Bison in the second half as they scored both of their goals in the second half of play. The Red Flash were able to bounce back after a penalty kick goal from the Bison just 10 minutes prior to the game-winning goal.


FLASH MOMENTS
Lauren Pyle led the Red Flash with two shots on goal as she also recorded an assist on the day, and also leads Saint Francis with six points on the season.

The Saint Francis defense once again stood tall as McConnon and the rest of the defenders stifled Howard in the final 20 minutes of play.

The Red Flash will hit the road as they travel to Merrimack next Thursday to take on the Warriors. The match is scheduled at 3 p.m. and can be seen live on NEC Front Row.
