Women's Soccer Ends With A Draw Against Fairleigh Dickinson

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> The Red Flash drew even against FDU after each team scored one goal to make it a 1-1 final.
>> Claire Miko scored her first goal of the season on a free kick in the beginning of the second half during the 47th minute.
>> Sarah McConnon notched two saves in net as the Saint Francis defense once again held their ground for the majority of the match.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
The Red Flash were down 1-0 in the beginning of the first half until Claire Miko successfully drove a free kick over the head of FDU's goalkeeper to tie the match at one. After that point, Saint Francis continued to put pressure on Fairleigh Dickinson's defense but were unable to get that decisive goal in the final minutes of the match.


FLASH MOMENTS
Colletta Ozbey led the Red Flash with two shots on net including a near goal with minimal time remaining in the second half. 

Corinne Renninger, Savannah Schoonmaker, and Rory Schaeffer played all 90 minutes for the Red Flash on the defensive side.

Saint Francis stayed clean in the foul department compared to FDU with six of their own compared to the Knight's 12 fouls which led to a Red Flash goal.

The Red Flash will close out their homestand with a match against the Howard Bison next Thursday. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m. and can be seen live on NEC Front Row.
