THE WORD ON STONEHILL
The Skyhawks are 1-9 overall in non-conference this season. The team most recently claimed its first victory of the season over Saint Michael's College in straight sets for Stonehill's home opener.
Jentry Allen leads the team overall with 65 kills on the season. While Kristen DeLorenzo and Lauren McCloskey lead Stonehill on the defensive side of things. Delorenzo with 109 digs and McCloskey with 17 total blocks this season.
LAST TIME WE MET STONEHILL
Friday's match marks the first time the Red Flash and Skyhawks have faced one another as this is Stonehill's first season as both an NEC and Division I member.
Friday's match to Saint Francis will also mark the opening of NEC action for the Skyhawks for the first time ever.
THE WORD ON MERRIMACK
The Warriors are 2-8 overall this season with both team's wins coming earlier in the season over Saint Peter's in straight sets and Hartford in four. However, the team has lost its last five matches in straight sets with the most recent loss coming to Binghamton.
Sydney Green leads Merrimack in both kills and blocks with 68 and 15, respectively. Lauryn Mattiucci is the team leader in digs with 60 on the season, while Mia Ardila leads the way on the setting end of things with 137 assists on the season.
LAST TIME WE MET MERRIMACK
The Red Flash are 4-0 overall against the Warriors. The Red Flash most recently defeated the Warriors last season in straight sets in DeGol Arena.
Maggie Hogan led Saint Francis with four service aces and 11 digs in the match.
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Flash most recently went 1-2 at the Gata Challenge in Statesboro, Ga., to go 2-11 overall in non-conference action. The team's most recent loss came to Queens University of Charlotte in straight sets. However, the team had an excellent game in a five-set win to Chattanooga for the start of the tournament which led
Madi Tyus to earn NEC Player of the Week and
Aubrey Deptula to pick up her first NEC Prime Performer award.
Maggie Hogan leads Saint Francis overall this season with 132 kills and 19 service aces, while
Emma Fenton has posted 377 assists on the non-conference slate.
Maggie Means and
Aubrey Deptula lead the Red Flash defensively. Means with 148 digs and Deptula with 40 blocks.
