Women's Soccer Drops Match At Towson

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> The Red Flash fall short in their last road contest until October against Towson, 3-0.
>> Saint Francis tallied six shots total in the loss.
>> The Red Flash will return home for five straight matches starting Thursday afternoon.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
During the 57th minute Towson was able to put their second goal on the board to increase the lead and not let the Red Flash come back into the match. Up until this point Saint Francis only trailed by one goal but Towson came out with 12 second half shots to put the pressure on the Red Flash and eventually win the match.


FLASH NUGGETS
Ava Parody, Ellie Aston, and Lauren Persichetty accounted for the three shots on goal for the Red Flash as Parody also led Saint Francis with two shots total.

Sarah McConnon recorded three saves for the Red Flash as she's made seven consecutive starts dating back to last season.

UP NEXT
The Red Flash return home to Loretto when they host nonconference foe, Delaware on Thursday afternoon. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m. and can be seen live on NEC Front Row.
